Anyone who said that you can't ever have too much of a good thing obviously never had to issue telephone numbers to an exploding population. Back in the good old days when the telephone was first invented there weren't that many people who even had one. For that matter, there weren't that many people period. Take New York City, which is one of the largest cities in the world today. The whole population of the United States in the 1880 census was a little over 50 million. The population of JUST New York City alone today stands at over 8 million people. And that's just ONE city. As for the number of people who had phones back then, well it was a very small percentage to say the least. Less than 10% of the people in the United States had phones. Today, almost everybody has a phone unless they live in a cave. The truth is, today you just can't live without a phone. And for each person who has a phone that's one more phone number that has to be given out. With the current phone system of 10 numbers, 3 for the area code and 7 for the number itself, that gives us a finite number of phone numbers that can be issued. Granted, mathematically we shouldn't run out of numbers if you just apply pure mathematics. But then you have to take into account that certain numbers can't be used. For example, because of information and emergency service numbers in the United States (411 and 911) no area codes can begin with those numbers and no phone exchanges can begin with those numbers. But restricted numbers are not the main problem we are faced with issuing phone numbers to customers. The problems only begin there. Aside from the fact that more people have phones today and there are more people in the world to have phones, people today as a family have more phone numbers. For example, as recently even as the 1970s, a family of 4 had one phone number. Oh they may have had more than one phone in the house, such as one in the bedroom and one in the kitchen, but they both shared the same number. Today, a family of 4 probably has 5 or even 6 different phone numbers in their home. Aside from the main home number, in most families, each member of the family has a cell phone with each one having a different number. Aside from that, since many people do work from their homes today, they also have either a fax number of a separate line installed for an Internet connection. So the number of phones per household has increased by a factor of 5 or 6. As a result issuing numbers has become a nightmare. States are having to break up into more area code segments. For example, in the 1960s, New Jersey had just 2 area codes, 201 and 609. Today we now have 201, 908, 732, 976 and 609. And still, New Jersey is running out of numbers. And this problem is happening all over. And it will only get worse. With the increasing number of ways to use a phone (throw aways) the number of phone numbers that will be needed will only continue to increase. The 13 digit phone number may be closer to reality than you think.

Spring / early summer is the most popular time for weddings. But no matter when you're planning your wedding, the stress can be overwhelming! From increasing costs to angry relatives to the never-ending guest list, a wedding brings stress and frustration for the bride. Unfortunately, we often resort to binge eating and 'comfort foods' during times of stress, which of course puts on the pounds and creates even more stress! "I bought WHAT size wedding dress?!?!?" Shoot for 30-minutes per day, six days per week. Be sure to include both cardio and resistance training so you'll get some muscle tone while you're burning fat. Second, banish all high-fat junk food from the house. Be strong! You can do this! No Twinkies, no bacon, no chocolate cream pie. Eat plenty of lean protein (skinless chicken breast, fish, etc.) and absolutely PIG OUT on fresh vegetables! Drink plenty of water, and in all cases avoid the empty calories found in soda, alcohol and that sweet kids juice. Finally, be wary of the weight-loss 'tricks' that you'll hear from your girlfriends. There is no magic pill that will make you a size 6 by the wedding, so don't experiment. Don't starve yourself because that will make you grumpy, make you retain fat, eliminate muscle tone, and set you up for failure. Don't listen to the gossip about the newest 'cabbage diet' or 'grapefruit diet' or 'Hollywood diet'. Instead, stick with a balanced diet and exercise.....this is the ONLY proven way to lose fat and look your best. Simply put this System is a systematic elimination of the various structures that exist in all lakes.
First of all, this system is not for the lazy man! It involves a continuous process of moving around the lake in set time periods. You will need basic equipment to get started. First you will need three rods in the boat (most of you have two with you anyway). What kind of rods? We'll leave that to your discretion. It all depends what you are fishing for. Usually, we recommend two medium-light rods and one medium-heavy rod: this allows you to handle all species of fish and ALL sizes!
Once equipped with three rods, the next important step is in picking the baits to attach to them. ON THE FIRST ROD - we'll attach a jig or a Booyah Spinner bait. As far as color is concerned, use the age-old fishing rule: Light day light color; dark day dark color. Obviously, this can all vary depending on what part of the country you're fishing in. ON THE SECOND ROD - we'll attach a bottom rig (like the Lindy Rig) or any rig that you can attach some live bait to. Maybe a bobber or float depending on the depth of the structure you are fishing or if you are close to a weedbed and you want to stay in a certain spot and depth. ON THE THIRD ROD - we'll attach an artificial bait, of your choice, although we suggest that you stick to those artificials that are known for their fish-catching effectiveness... Rapala, Rebel, Bomber Baits, Booyah Baits etc. Also keep in mind, ask what works on that particular lake at the bait shop you will probably go to. Especially if you dont know the lake very well. Even if you do, you will probably ask anyway. On the first rod, you have an option - the jig can either be fished as is or combined with live bait: Nightcrawlers in the summer and Minnows in the spring and fall. You can use other live baits, too, depending on the species and size of fish you are after. On the second rod, you do not have an option -the bottom rig must be fished in combination with live bait. Again, we strongly suggest crawlers (Summer) and minnows (Spring and Fall) the majority of the time and also depending on what part of the country you are in. Here's how it works.... your first few minutes on the lake are spent observing the surrounding water and shorelines. Utilizing a lake map is also a handy tool to identify and plan where to start fishing. YOU ARE LOOKING FOR STRUCTURE!! You notice a patch of reeds. That's a starting point. You motor over and begin with the three rod process of elimination. You are working within a 30-minute time period. In other words, in 30 minutes, using the live and artificial bait combinations on the three rods, you are to fully cover that structure in an effort to determine if fish are present. Believe this, through a fan casting or drifting or trolling procedure, you will learn quickly if there is any action to be had.
REMEMBER THIS.... fish are migratory creatures. They seldom stay in one place for more than a few minutes: if you're lucky, 20 to 30 minutes. They DO move from spot to spot. So, even if you are fishing a known hotspot or one that seems potentially productive, DON'T be surprised if there is no action to be had. And by using the three bait approach with a 30-minute period to establish contact, you WILL KNOW if they are or are not there!
So what do you do if, after 30 minutes, that patch of reeds produces nothing? YOU MOVE ON! To another structure. No, it doesn't matter. There never has been a time when catching fish was really difficult...there are certain rules of fishing that, when applied consistently, will never fail to yield limits of fish, no matter the species. If a fisherman does fail, then it is not the supposedly wily, wary, and mysterious fish that causes all the problems; but rather, the fisherman himself who probably lacks the very basic knowledge about fish, their habits and habitats. Weather systems also affect fishing. Understanding high pressure systems are better for fishing as opposed to low pressure systems. With the Structure Elimination System, a fisherman does not have to be a modern day fishing genius to be successful. Not by a long shot! Let's face it, with organizations popping up all over the place, extolling the joys of scientific fishing, well, it's no small wonder that a good many average fishermen are beginning to feel left out in the race for fishing limits and lunkers. It's almost as if these so-called scientists are trying to convince the world that their way is the only way to ensure success in fishing. The marriage agency business in Ukraine is booming. It was born shortly the fall of the wall, but received its biggest infusion of life about 7 years ago with the rise in popularity of the Internet. Ukraine is second after Russia in numbers of women using the Internet superhighway to find love and romance and, perhaps, a better life. But how many of these women are for real? How many wants love, marriage and a little one in a baby carriage? Surprisingly enough after talking with a cross-section of men recently arrived in Kyiv from Western Europe, the USA and Canada on marriage tours, not as many as you would think are interested in pursuing marriage. These men, who had been corresponding with the woman of 'their dreams' for many months, were dismayed to find that once on the ground in Ukraine, a different story was on the verge of ruining their fairytale quest for a Slavic princess. There were three com?plaints this reporter heard from all but two of the men. Number one: I. The girl said she had second thoughts and didn't want to get married so soon. 2. The girl said she had no plans to leave Ukraine. 3. The girl 'appeared' interested only in going out and having a good time. "It was just a bit strange to me," says Curtis, a computer programmer from San Jose California. Curtis had been corresponding with a girl named Svetlana in Kyiv for about 6 months before deciding to take the plunge. "Everything appears o.k. on the surface, but when I want to talk about specifics, plans for the future, she backs off. I mean I am only here for 7 days, I don't have a long time to put things together, it was really kind of frustrating," he says. Curtis also says the passion and heartfelt feelings that were in the emails and letters before his arrival were missing in the face to face contact. "There was something peculiar about our first and second meetings. I didn't get the impression that I was talking to the same girl I had been writing to for a half of a year. She said she didn't want to get married so soon and that she was nervous about relocating to the USA," said Curtis. Those two points are the sticklers. Yes, marriage is a big step, and one should be a little nervous about broaching the subject, but shouldn't that be a consideration before a person enlists the services of a marriage agency, not after the guy you have been writing 'sweet nothings' to shows up at Boryspil Airport? The first two points were put to American businessman and longtime Kyiv resident Mr. Brett Ousley, himself President of Kiev Connections. "I am a single guy, and have used agencies in the past, and some of the problems mentioned are what led me to open up my own agency", he says. Brett says many of the plethora of agencies in Ukraine are in the business to collect and sell as many names and addresses as they can. This 'killing the golden goose' mentality in the marriage agency business is bad for the legitimate operations who genuinely try to match the appropriate people for a solid relationship. "I remember this one time, years ago, I was on a date with a girl from some agency in town," says Ousley, "and after I pick her up we start walking to this cafe in order to get to know each other better. As we are walking, she nonchalantly blurts out that she can not be out late because her husband will be home in a while". Needless to say, Ousley politely ducked out. "She was amazing, she like said I hope this doesn't preclude us going out tonight? I said well, 'what's the point', see ya later," says the disgusted bride hunter. Ousley says this experience was such a shocker that it has helped form a cornerstone of his operation. Through screening of the applicants, his suspicions were well founded. What some people don't consider as that this is a 'win win' situation for the ladies," says Ousley. "It costs them nothing. The risk is the man's. She waits for the agency to call, or she collects the letters, gifts and dates all for free, while the man uses his one vacation a year, buys a ticket, lodgings in Kyiv and lays his heart on the line, so that is why we make sure our girls are on the level," says Ousley. Ousley says that he periodically reviews a girl's status, and that some are rejected, or removed from his roster if they are found to be just in the game for a good time and not serious. Another agency that specializes in personalized matchmaking is the Mordinson Agency of Kharkiv. Mordinson is a premium agency specializing in some of 'the most attractive women in the Kharkiv region, and goes to the trouble of listing it's success stories on the web site, with actual photos of the couples it has produced. "Our girls are all interested in getting married and we go to the trouble of individually tailoring a program for the man who is visiting, so he feels special and the process goes smoothly," says representative Darya Mordinson. "We don't conduct these uncomfortable 'meat-market' socials that some of the bigger agencies conduct," she says of the classic marriage agency meets where ten guys will find themselves facing a room full of up to sixty girls. "The meetings we offer are all individual and only with girls or women who are definitely interested in the man so that disappointment is who have dealt with the mass marketers of names and addresses. You can tell such sites right away when you load up their page on your browser. You see about ten to fifteen photos per page, nearly identical wording on the bios, normally only credit card payment info and no one person's name at the top who you can talk to if you have a problem. If you are surfing for an agency, a sign that one is more credible than others would be the listing of a phone number and a manager's name. The address sellers are the weak link in the marriage agency chain.? Marriage agencies do attract negative publicity, and are still seen as somewhat exploitative, but it is worth remembering that they exist everywhere. However, the financial differentials between Western husbands and Slavic brides has left the practice open to attack. In the late 1990s a feminist legislator from Washington State proposed a law wherein background checks should be required of men enlisting the services of a marriage agency overseas. Allegedly responding to cases wherein eastern European and Asian women were bought as mail order brides and abandoned or abused in the United States, the legislation was thrown out, largely due to the lack of concrete cases of abuses. In fact, many agencies make a point of listing success stories of 'happy ever after' couples on their sites, and guard against getting involved with any Western client deemed 'undesirable'. In general, potential bride hunters should be careful when choosing an agency and ask those sensitive tough questions before hopping on a plane or forking out a lot of money for that one 'special girl'. There are many genuine ladies looking for long-term involvement, but there are also many girls more excited by the prospect of 'no strings' fun with comparatively well-off foreign man. Happy hunting! In order to maintain this finish and keep the wood stain-resistant, you should periodically apply non-toxic oil, once every few months. USP-grade mineral oil is the best; it is the cheapest food-grade oil and it is available at your local drug store. Vegetable or olive oil should not be used; it will turn rancid. Warm the oil up a little prior to applying with a soft cloth, wiping along the grain direction. Let the oil to soak in for four to six hours then wipe off any excess oil that didnt soak in. What about all those spills and marks seemingly branded into the wood? How do you get rid of stains on older butcher-block countertops? You could go ahead have the surface sanded and resealed. But before you do, give this a try: shake some salt over the marks, and then scrub the wood with the cut open side of a lemon half. Letting the wood sit overnight, rinse with water afterwards. For the darker stains, sponge on a solution of 3 percent hydrogen peroxide and water. If you do decide to sand and reseal, consider using one of the professional alternatives to mineral oils. You can find wood sealers designed for food surfaces at many woodworking supply outlets. I believe we do not have total understanding of what it means for our soul to prosper. It would be helpful to understand what the soul is first before we go on. Many people say the spirit and the soul are the same thing, however the Word of God differentiates them. Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. If the soul and spirit were the same thing then why would there be a need to divide them as the Word of God is saying here? Meaning the thoughts and intentions of the heart are not the same as the thoughts and intentions of the soul. Since they are different and need to be divided, it would be beneficial for us to understand this and know why this needs to be so.
What are the differences and why is it important for us to know the differences to have a prosperous soul as the Apostle John is saying. I believe it is critical for us to understand the difference. I believe it is vital in order to know when we are receiving something from God and when it is just our flesh. I know God is a spirit and that He always communicates with our born again spirit, not our flesh, or mind or soul. I believe it begins with the Word of God, as the writer of Hebrews says. We have to start here. The Word of God is a divider of spirit and soul. The word heart is often synonymous with spirit in the Bible. It is not talking about the physical beating heart but our spirit. Jesus said this
John 3:5 Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. We know He was not talking about physical birth, He specifically said born of spirit. It is the spirit of man that is born again. We know this because he goes on to explain in vs. 6-7.
"That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
"Do not marvel that I said to you, `You must be born again.' Gods Word tells us Proverbs 20:27 The spirit of a man is the lamp of the Lord, searching all the inner depths of his heart. It is mans spirit that communicates with God, and also where God communicates with us, not our intellect or emotions. So we can see that the spirit of man is born again of God. Gods life has been imparted to the one who acknowledges Jesus as Lord. So the question would be if the spirit of man is born of God, then what is the soul? Well, we know it is not the spirit and we know that it is not the flesh, so what is left? Everything else is left. Our emotions, our intellect, our thought processes, and our minds are all things that are not born again. Some would ask if we are born again then isnt our soul born again too, isnt our soul saved as well? That is a very good question and gets to the very heart of this discussion. The writter of Hebrews says this Heb:10:39: But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul. The literal translations says preservation of the soul James said this --- James 1:21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls. James was writing to believers, not the lost. He did not mean to save your spirit. Their spirits were already born again. He said the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls. It is able to save your mind. Our minds or souls are not born again, they have to be renewed by the Word of God. This is a process that takes time, being born again happens instantly; the moment you acknowledge Jesus as Lord. James goes on to say, 22. But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. 23. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; 24. for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. 25. But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.
This is hearing and putting the Word of God into practice. This is part of the renewing process. Hear and put into practice. Paul said in Romans
Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
2. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. He here is talking about presenting your bodies and minds to God. paul said be transformed by the renewing of your mind. James said receive with meekness the engrafted Word which is able to save your soul. The engrafted word will renew your mind and save your soul. They both said a similar thing about renewing restoring and saving the mind or soul. The 23 Psalm said a similar thing Psalms 23:3 He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name's sake.
He restores my soul. We are born again of the spirit but our soul must be renewed with the Word of God.
The mind will be dominated by the body if it is not first renewed by the Word of God.
We will be dominated by the carnal not the spiritual without this renewing process. In order for your soul to prosper it must be dominated by your spirit. In order for your spirit to dominate your soul or mind, you must receive the engrafted Word of God. This will save your soul. You may be saying I just dont see this. All you do is have to look at any mental health institution. You will see people who have lost their soul. The world is full of people who no longer have control over their minds and have given it over to forces that now control them. Maybe this was not their original intention but it is the end state, none the less. I hope you see my point in this. Our minds must be renewed by the Word of God. In order to grow up into spiritual adulthood we must allow our spirit to dominate our mind and begin to walk the walk of faith. It can not happen any other way, and there are no shortcuts in this process, only diligence in Gods Word. As the Apostle Paul said, this is our reasonable service. Only the renewed mind will dominate the body. The mind or soul will take sides with our spirit because we have renewed it with Gods Word. Your spirit by the power of the Holy Spirit will then and only then be able to dominate the carnal mind. Lets prove Gods Word true. Lets prove Gods Word true as the Apostle Paul said. Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.

Amen. Do you know Jesus as your Lord and Savior? Do you want to be a joint heir with Christ?
If so, I urge you to earnestly pray the following prayer. Dear Heavenly Father, I come to you in the name of Jesus. Your word says, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out. (Jn.6:37), So I know You wont cast me out, but You take me in, And I thank you for it. You said in your Word, "whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.'' (Ro. 10:13). I am calling on Your name, So I know You have saved me now, You also said, that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes to righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made to salvation. (Ro.10:9,10). I believe in my heart that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. I believe He was raised from the dead for my justification. And I confess Him now as my Lord, Because Your Word says, with the heart one believes to righteousness and I do believe with my heart, I have now become the righteousness of God in Christ. (2 Cor. 5:21), And I am saved! Thank You, Lord!

Although this installment can be read alone, it would be best to read the first and second previous articles first. When it comes to asking a person for references, an employer can ask for the names of persons willing to provide professional and/or character references for the prospective employee. An employer should ask, "By whom were you referred for a position here"? An employer should not ask a prospective employee questions of a prospective employee's former employers or acquaintances which elicit information specifying the prospective employee's religious creed, color, ancestry, race, national origin, medical condition, physical handicap, sex, age, or marital status. When it comes to asking a person who to notify when the potential employee has an accident or in an emergency, an employer should simply ask that. An employer should not ask a potential employee the name and address of a relative to be notified in case of emergency or accident. When it comes to asking a potential employee about organizations and activities that they belong to, an employer should ask, "Please list job-related clubs, professional societies, clubs, or other associations to which you belong. You may omit those which indicate your color, religious creed, race, age, national origin, sex, or ancestry". An employer should not ask, "List all societies, lodges, organizations and clubs to which you belong". Important tips for prospective employees having a person to person interview are pretty basic. First impressions are very important. A prospective employee may be able to do the work accurately and efficiently and may know all the answers, but a prospective employee must also win the approval of the interviewer. In a person to person interview, many people believe that appearances counts up to 90 percent in an interview. It is important for a prospective employee to not underdress or overdress in an interview. Dress in a manner that's businesslike. Attention to personal grooming and dress will give the potential employee confidence. A potential employee should avoid extremes in makeup, hairstyles and clothing. It is important as a potential employee to think about the questions that may be asked of them. Give some thought to the type of response that should be given to the questions the employer may ask. Poise and confidence will be gained from such preparation when a prospective employee approaches their interview. A prospective employee may be asked other questions like, "What salary do you expect"? Or, "Why do you want to work for this company"? Prospective employees may be asked about their skills and grades and should know the proper answers to these questions. During an interview, a prospective employee should speak in a clear, firm voice and give direct answers. Practice going through an interview, phrasing your answers to possible questions.
